College Board
Our College Board is an integral part of the governance of the College and meets twice a term during school hours. Our Board consists of members of College Staff, Parents and Community and Industry representatives. All Board members are obliged to act in the best interests of our College and our students and are not there to represent the interests of any subgroups of the College community. The Board contributes to decision making and the Principal consults with the Board and takes advice prior to making decisions on aspects. The Board approves charges and fees, booklists, any advertising agreements and works in consultation with students, staff, parents and guardians on dress codes. Often an advisory role occurs around local community context, allocation of resourcing, reviews and monitoring of targets, Annual Report and Business Plan targets. The Act prohibits the Board from being involved in the day-to day running of the college.
Board minutes are available on request, if you would like these sent to you, please email: fiona.barker@education.wa.edu.au
