Principal's Welcome

Halls Head College is located just south of Mandurah. This location is unique – we are bordered by ocean and estuary, providing a rich learning environment for our students. The college grounds include unique shared access to the Halls Head Recreation Centre facilities. These facilities have bright modern architecture and state of the art facilities that combine to create a highly desirable education setting.

Halls Head College is establishing itself an outstanding reputation since its foundation in 2001. We pride ourselves on staff providing genuine care for students and we strive to ensure we provide a safe and supportive learning environment, offering all of our students the chance to develop the skills and understandings that equip them for the longer journey beyond school. Our motto ‘Learning for Life’ is core in everything we do.

Consequently our college offers unique and tailored opportunities for students and a variety of pathways. Many of our students aspire to University entrance and the professional occupations. A growing number of our students go on to become leaders in their chosen field and in the community. Others select alternative pathways via TAFE, Apprenticeships and the workforce. No matter what the goal, we are committed to giving each student opportunities and tailoring their learning to best position them for future success. As an Independent Public School, Halls Head College fosters relationships with key members of the community: our parents; current and past students; our School Board; community groups; both local and international businesses and Tertiary Institutions.

Halls Head College provides a learning culture offering rigour and engagement, with appropriate use of technology aimed at promoting excellence, shared values and the attributes of citizenship in an ordered and disciplined environment. In a century where changes are occurring exponentially and the future is both unpredictable and challenging, Halls Head College students are encouraged to develop an adaptive and disciplined skill set to prepare them to meet the challenges of adulthood in this new world.
