Senior School Transition Program

To be eligible for entry into SSTP, students must have been successful in their off campus VET qualification application and have accepted this offer.

Students’ attendance at their Off Campus Qualification is a requirement & compulsory work placement (dependent on qualification delivery days at RTO) whilst enrolled in SSTP.

The SSTP is seeing a significant increase in the number of students choosing this pathway as a way of gaining entry to an apprenticeships/Training or Employment.

It isn’t an easier pathway, more a different learning environment that also carries the significant advantage of a work placement which industry and employers value.

SSTP students study 4 general subjects (to meet WACE requirement) over 3 days (Monday Tuesday & Wednesday): Thursday & Friday – work placement and/or off campus RTO attendance.

These students are eligible to receive a Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) in addition to their Qualification and Workplace Learning experience.

SSTP – How do I apply?

YEAR 10 students -Choose your six (6) courses when Year 11, 2024 course selection open in Term 3, 2023, complete application for off campus RTO, if successful we will call you for interview to SSTP.

YEAR 11 STUDENTS – be successful in your application for off campus RTO, if there are available spaces we will interview you in Term 4.
